Our Story
The Nambour Lapidary Club was established in March 1965, following a meeting in the Cane Growers Building in Lowe Street, Nambour.
A building in Anne Street was the home of the club for some 9 years, the club has 2 further moves before securing the current site in the Nambour Showgrounds in June 1975.
The Nambour Council were generous by providing the building at an affordable rent. A long awaited extension to the club was completed in 2010. Many organisations have provided grants to help buy equipment.
But it is our members over the years that have been exceptional in providing their time, knowledge and resources to make the club the success it is today.
